You may be a school or college leaver, or just interested in a new career path. If that’s the case, then why not apply for an Apprenticeship with JTM?
Our apprenticeship and traineeship programmes are offered to young individuals looking to break into the industry. We’re here to provide you with some key information in applying for one of our programmes, and hopefully make your decision easier!
Sectors
Many of you may be unsure what sector you’d like to work in. JTM offer a wide variety of subject areas such as: Customer Service; IT; Business Administration; Childcare; ILM; Teaching Assistant and more to ensure we have something available for everyone. We also offer Employability Skills training for those looking to start work. If you’re interested in a particular area, it might be worth attending one of our Information Sessions to gain more of a detailed understanding on each apprenticeship and what is required of you. The application process is short and sweet and we have advisors on hand to answer any questions you may have and advise you accordingly. Feel free to contact our live chat advisors on our website for more information, or give us a call on 01513369340.
Age Range
If you are 16 or over, you can apply for one of our apprenticeships. Apprenticeships are offered from school leaving age, offering an alternative option for those unsure about attending college.
Entry Requirements
There’s a lot of speculation about entry requirements. Anyone can do an apprenticeship if they are of an eligible age. If you don’t have your GCSE’s we can still enlist you onto one of our programmes and you would be able to study to gain your English and Maths in addition to your apprenticeship qualification if you are old enough! Some specific courses such as Teaching Assistant do require that you currently work in a school so it’s worth enquiring if you’re interested in a specific qualification as they do differ. We offer courses to suit everyone.
Qualifications
JTM are proud to offer level 1, 2 and 3 courses in a variety of areas such as Childcare, Business Admin, IT and more. We can also advise how you would be able to do a level 4 or 5 higher education qualification with ourselves if this is what you’re looking for. JTM are an accredited centre for City & Guilds, CACHE, ILM and Edexcel qualifications. If you have any enquiries about a specific course we offer, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone, e-mail or live chat for more information. We’re always here to help!
Progression
Following completion of your apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress onto a higher-level qualification (e.g. Level 3 after completion of a Level 2) or alternatively secure a full-time place in your company.
